Embracing the casual, genial Maine lifestyle 207mainer is a brick and mortar shop in an historical downtown building offering a wide range of quality, fun, practical and serious goodies for yourself or as gifts. An online shop will be introduced in 2021.

Gift lines include Original Maine Flag, Soberdough, Rugged Seas, Yes Cocktails, Islandport Press, Map Adventures, Cinder+Salt, Maine Sea Salt, Mythical Maine and many more!

The owner was born in Maine, summering as a kid in the Belgrade Lakes at her family’s ancestral home. She moved to the Downeast Maine coast in the early 1970’s and never left. Raising a family, being an entrepreneur, active community member and loyal Mainer (almost to a fault!) is the template for her active Maine lifestyle as an entrepreneur. 

Living for almost 50 years in Maine her focus has been the hospitality industry with a focus on serving yummy, locally and regionally prepared foods. And adding a gift shop component along the way. She knows what local Mainers, summer people and tourists like. 

She can usually be found at Ironbound Restaurant and Inn in Hancock, Maine. Or at 207mainer in Ellsworth, Maine.
